Martha M. Peters

20-Year Employee Of Stevenson Lumber

Martha M. Peters, 77, formerly of Sandy Hook, died February 13 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Northport, Fla. She was born on October 21, 1928, in Bridgeport.

Survivors include three sons, John Peters of Sandy Hook, Robert Peters and Martin Peters, both of Northport; two daughters, Carol Krantz of Lyman, N.H., and Gail Carboy of Northport; two sisters, Ruth Peters of Port St Lucie, Fla., and Dorothy Reimer of East Corinth, Vt.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ms Peters was a computer operator for Stevenson Lumber in Monroe for 20 years. She was a member of The Homeacres Club of Port Charlotte and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was of the Christian faith. Ms Peters moved to Northport 12 years ago.

A memorial service was held in Northport on February 20. A memorial service will be held at Newtown Christian Church at a future date.
