Tickets are still available for this year’s St Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl in Sandy Hook Center, an annual event and fundraiser presented by Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (SHOP).

Tickets are $90 each and include one drink and refreshments at each stop as well as gratuities. They are available through sandyhookvillage.com.

The event begins at 1:30 pm and is for ages 21 and over.

Five local restaurants and Sandy Hook Wine & Liquor will host ticket-holders for the pub crawl. Participants should park in the westernmost area of the parking lot at Heritage Park, 7 Glen Road, to meet at and start from the pavilion there. Organizers will check in guests, provide wristbands and stamps, provide the first round of drinks and refreshments, and go over the afternoon’s itinerary and guidelines. A bagpiper will be playing at the pavilion during check-in and will also escort the groups to their next stop.

After dividing into two groups, participants will spend the next few hours visiting each of the participating locations: Antoinette’s at Nouveau Monde, Cover Two Sports Café, Foundry Kitchen & Tavern, Gino’s Parlor, Sandy Hook Wine & Liquor, and Sugo Gastro Bar.

Each restaurant will provide a drink option as well as an appetizer. The liquor store will host a special holiday tasting.

A two-hour after party is also part of the day’s event, with ticket holders invited to return to the pavilion for that at 6 pm. That stop will include one more beer or wine within the ticket price; a cash bar will also be operating. A band will be performing, and raffle drawings will take place.

Organizers remind those planning to attend their event that Uber and Lyft are available in the area. St Patrick’s day garb is strongly encouraged.
