Between the end of February and mid-March, the St Rose of Lima School community celebrated in a number of ways.

On February 28, the school’s eighth grade students celebrated 100 days until graduation. Goodies were given out, such as T-shirts, and activities were held, as announced by St Rose Director of Mission Advancement Laura Moulder.

Then, on March 1, the school hosted a “Drop Everything and Read Day.” All grade levels participated. At designated times, students stopped what they were doing to “curl up with a good book,” Moulder shared in a recent e-mail.

And on March 14, the school marked Pi Day, the annual celebration for the mathematical sign called Pi. Students completed math projects in honor of the day, and the school hosted a contest to see which pie was the most popular. Sweet pie won over pizza, according to Moulder.
