Forum On Lyme Disease

NEW MILFORD — On Tuesday, April 3, at 6:45 pm, New Milford Hospital’s medical staff will sponsor a Community Health Forum entitled “Lyme Disease – Now You Can Fight the Bite.” The talk will be held at New Milford Hospital with guest speaker, MD, a rheumatologist on the New Milford Hospital’s medical staff.

During the talk Dr Spiegel will discuss the types of ticks that are carriers, signs and symptoms of the disease, and treatments available to those contracting it. He will also provide information on LYMErix, the safe and effective FDA-approved home vaccine.

The program is free and open to the public, and will be held at the New Milford Hospital Robison Conference Rooms. Handouts will be available and refreshments will be served.
