Public Invited To Healing Seminar

EASTON — Christ’s Episcopal Church – Easton will host a daylong seminar led by the nationally noted healing minister Nigel W.D. Mumford on Saturday, March 31.

The Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut endorses Mr Mumford’s healing specialty. He is director of The Oratory of the Little Way in Gaylordsville, where he established a healing retreat in 1995.

A former Commando drill instructor in The Royal Marines in the United Kingdom, Mr Mumford moved to the United States in 1980. He owned a picture framing business with outlets in Wilton and Bethel. In 1990 the miraculous healing of his sister Julie, a prima ballerina with the Royal Ballet in London, from a rare, usually fatal neurological disease drew Mr Mumford into the spiritual healing ministry.

The seminar will begin with Mr Mumford’s personal testimony, followed by the Bible basics for spiritual healing. He will then teach the ministry of laying-on of hands, followed by an application of this principle. All who come seeking healing will be prayed for.

Mr Mumford received the Wittnauer International Humanitarian award and serves on the National Board of Directors of the Christian Healing Ministry of Jacksonville, Fla.

The public is invited. Christ’s Church overlooks Route 59 at 59 Church Road, Easton. The seminar will run from 10 am to 4 pm. There is a suggested $5 contribution; luncheon will be served. For reservations and directions call the church office at 203-268-3569.
