Library Planning Craft Supply Exchange
C.H. Booth Library will host a Craft Supply Exchange in April.
First, during regular library hours Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16, readers are invited to drop off clean, usable materials on the second floor of the library, 25 Main Street. Folding tables will be set up near the puzzle table.
Accepted items include everything from inks, pencils, paints, brushes, pastels, erasers, chalks, charcoals, and markers to yarn, fabric, thread, embroidery supplies, canvas, watercolor paper, drawing paper, sketchbooks, construction paper, newsprint, glue, beads, artificial flowers, and much more.
The collection is not accepting non-craft items, damaged items or materials in poor condition, incomplete or personal projects, unsafe materials, or hazardous or restricted items (spray paint, paint thinners, epoxy, solvents, etc).
Items should not be left outdoors nor in the book drop.
Library staff will sort and arrange all items received.
Then, from Monday, April 20 through Thursday, April 23, readers are invited to browse and select from the new-to-them items. The Craft Supply Exchange is first come, first served.
Participants do not need to have donated in order to browse and select supplies.
The library is regularly open 9:30 am-8 pm on those days.
For full donation details or to register for either or both events visit chboothlibrary.libcal.com/event/16533291.
