Lauren Nicole Cross and Eric Scott Margulies

Mr and Mrs Tom Cross of Austin, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Nicole Cross, and Eric Scott Margulies, son of Mr and Mrs Howard Margulies of Raleigh, N.C.

Ms Cross is a 1999 graduate of Newtown High School and received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2003. She is presently employed by sanofi-aventis in Manhattan as a pharmaceutical sales representative.

Mr Margulies graduated from Sanderson High School in Raleigh in 1999 and from Indiana University in 2003 with a bachelor of arts degree in finance from the Kelly School of Business. He is a senior private client associate with Sanford C. Bernstein in Manhattan.

A January 14, 2007, wedding in Austin is planned.
