Local 'Memoranza' Scrapbooking Workshop
Local âMemoranzaâ Scrapbooking Workshop
The desire to preserve memories spans language, geographical, and cultural barriers. Recognizing the worldwide importance of memory preservation, Karen Pierce will join more than 90,000 Creative Memories consultants on April 1 to celebrate Memoranza, an annual event bringing together people from around the world to share memories and to complete keepsake albums.
Join Creative Memories consultant Karen Pierce during her hands-on Memoranza Workshop from 10 am to midnight on April 1 at the Danbury Sheraton Hotel. Ms Pierce will provide instruction on safe and creative photo preservation and will assist participants in starting keepsake albums. The fee is $68 per person before March 28, or $75 thereafter, for the all-day event.
Celebrated as National Scrapbook Day for the past ten years, Memoranza has evolved from a local celebration of scrapbooking into an annual, worldwide event emphasizing the importance of documenting and preserving family photos and stories in safe, meaningful keepsake albums.
âMemoranza is an international representation of our mission to preserve the past, enrich the present, and inspire hope for the future,â says Susan Iida-Pederson, vice president for corporate relations. âIt will continue to grow and inspire story-sharing and album-making all over the world.â
