Meeting On Underage Drinking Invites Community Input

The Newtown Prevention Council will sponsor a meeting asking for community input on strategies to reduce underage drinking. The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 6, from 7 to 9 pm, in the Alexandria Room at Edmond Town Hall.

Introductory speakers will include First Selectman Herb Rosenthal, Superintendent of Schools Evan Pitkoff, and Chief of Police Mike Kehoe.

A video entitled This Place will be show with the remainder of the evening devoted to listening to comments from the community. Adult and student input is welcome.

Dessert and coffee will be served and babysitting will be provided on site.
