Mr And Mrs Mark T. Kane

Caitlan Mary Brower and Mark Timothy Kane were married on September 24 at St Francis of Assisi Church in Wakefield, R.I., with Father Lacombe officiating.

The bride is the daughter of James and Margaret Brower of Newtown.

The groom is the son of Sandi and Timothy Kane of St Albert, Alberta, Canada.

The bride wore a white satin dress and was given in marriage by her parents.

The maid of honor was Catherine Driscoll. The bridesmaids were Kristen Beer, Jennifer Vossen, Patricia Sullivan, Maura Cignetti, and Robin Edwards, sister of the groom.

The best man was Steven Olsen. The ushers were Jason Brower, Benjamin Brower, and Jonathan Brower, all brothers of the bride; Matt Edwards, brother-in-law of the groom; and Dan Price.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1995 and Providence College, Providence, R.I., with a degree in special education and elementary education. She also received a master’s degree in literacy from Providence College. She is a teacher at Greenknoll School, Dedham, Mass.

The groom graduated from Bellrose Composite High School in St Albert, Alberta, Canada, and Providence College, Providence, R.I., with a degree in business. He is currently employed at Xerox, in Boston, Mass.

The reception was held at Newport Regatta Club, Newport, R.I.

The couple honeymooned in St Lucia. They are living in Canton, Mass.
