M. Barbara (Dillon) Huebner, 78, a resident of Fairfield, died suddenly on March 26.
She is survived by a son, Allen Charles Huebner and his wife, Laurie, of Sandy Hook.
She was the daughter of the late William Bryan Dillon and Mary (Bing) Dillon. She was born in New Haven on January 2, 1923, and had lived in Connecticut all of her life. She had resided in Fairfield for the last 36 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield, and Brooklawn Country Club. She was devoted to her family and friends, volunteered for various activities throughout her life, and was known for her fun-loving spirit.
She is also survived by her husband, Robert William Huebner; her other sons, Robert William Huebner, Jr, and his wife, Rosemary, of Ohio, Bryan Joseph Huebner and his wife, Pam, of Fairfield, Richard Frederick Huebner and his wife, Debbie, of Simsbury; her grandchildren, Karen Blymire, Amy Huebner, Robert Huebner, III, Janice Huebner, Diane Huebner, Stephen Bisogno, Carly Huebner, Michael Huebner, Matthew Huebner, Shane Huebner, and Dylan Huebner; her brothers and sisters, Dorothy Misbach, Elizabeth (Betty) Kelly, Joan Lynch, Francis Dillon, Joseph Dillon, Richard Dillon, and William B. Dillon. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Dillon.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 31, at 10 am, in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
Friends may call on Friday, March 30, at the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, from 3 to 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make contributions to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, CT 06432, or the charity of your choice.
