Suzanne C. Henley, 56, of 4 Hemlock Road, Newtown, died on March 27, in the Harborside Health Care Center, Danbury, after a brief illness.
Mrs Henley was born in Derby on January 6, 1945, daughter of the late Raymond T. and Elsie (Gross) Kamaitis.
Mrs Henley was the devoted wife of Gregory Henley, beloved mother of Kristine K. Henley of Newtown, loving sister of Raymond T. Kamaitis, Jr, of Milford, and daughter-in-law of Patricia M. Henley of Shelton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Raquel J. Figueroa-Heath, of Newtown.
She retired from the State of Connecticut, having worked for Fairfield Hills for 35 years. Mrs Henley was a graduate of Shelton High School in 1962.
The world without Mrs Henley is one deprived of its brightest flower. Her caring and thoughtful ways will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Her funeral will leave the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Friday, March 30, at 9:45 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St Joseph Church, Shelton.
Her burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, March 29, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.
