Lynn Brown Gallic, 65, of Sandy Hook, Connecticut, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Danbury Hospital.

Lynn was born in Bridgeport, Conn., on May 22, 1957, to William and Carol Brown of Sandy Hook, Conn. After raising her children in several states throughout the country, Lynn came back to her hometown and the place she loved, where she met the love of her life and partner of 19 years, Ronald Shimko. They cherished the views from their home on Lake Zoar and loved kayaking, listening to music, and taking car rides around the state that they both held so dear to their heart.

Lynn was employed as a billing coordinator for 19 years at OrthoConnecticut. All who knew Lynn loved her positivity, kindness, fun storytelling, and devoted friendship. You could always count on Lynn to bring life to any party.

Lynn had a special relationship with Ron’s children: Ron Shimko (Kristin) of Hoboken, N.J., Brian Shimko of Ridgefield, Conn., and especially Nora Lynn Shimko of Norwalk, Conn.; as well as Ron’s grandchildren: Evelyn, Bridget, and Colin.

Lynn is survived by her parents, William and Carol Brown, of Sandy Hook, Conn.; brothers, Keith Brown (Lauren) of Sandy Hook, Conn., Todd Brown (Brenda) of Bridgeport, Conn., and Brett Brown (Michelle) of Burlington, Conn.; sister Lisa Brown Chiulli (Mike) of Cromwell, Conn.; her loving children, Stephen Gallic (Erin) of Colorado, Kyle Gallic of Indiana, and Kimberly Gallic (Chad) of Colorado; her loving grandchildren Miles, Lincoln, and Emmett, whom she doted on and thought the world of; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may greet the family Friday, March 31, from 4 to 7 pm at Honan Funeral Home, located at 58 Main Street, Newtown, Conn.
