Gina Swanson: âWhen I was in middle school I played an April Foolâs prank on my dad. He retaliated by setting my alarm clock hours ahead. I woke the following morning, got up, dressed and fully ready for school, when I went downstairs and found it was still dark outside and only 5 in the morning. Iâll never forget that and I never played a prank again.â
Matt Brown: âI took a bottle of fluorescent green Hawaiian Punch left over from a St Patrickâs Day party and replaced the label with a clip art picture of a skull and crossbones. Then I told the school secretaries I had changed the antifreeze in my car, when it was really just green punch, and asked where I could pour it out in the school.â
Cheryl Hartgraves: âWhen I was a kid I put a lemon/lime Tic Tac in a Swedish meatball and my dad got that meatball at dinner. He spit it out and said that something was wrong with the meat. I never admitted to anything.â
Cathy Dee: âI always do something to my two kids on the morning of April Foolâs Day. It is usually something like telling them they missed the bus or they have a spider on their shoulder.â
Sara Strait: âWhen I was a kid I switched the sugar and salt. My dad got really upset with me.â
Barb Mancher: âWhen I taught in Easton I played a prank on a teammate. She left her classroom for just a second and I snuck her whole class out and had them hide along the wall in the back of my classroom. She couldnât find her class and the students were a riot because they kept so quiet and still. When she entered the room they jumped up to surprise her. She spent the rest of the year paying me back for that one.â
