Post Prom Party Experience
Post Prom Party Experience
To the Editor:
Last year, as a senior, I was able to experience the Post Prom Party sponsored by the PTSA. Although I was a little skeptical at first on how much fun it was really going to be, surprisingly, it turned out better than I expected.
First of all, it was great just to see people at the Post Prom Party who you hadnât had the opportunity to talk with at the prom. There was a raffle with amazing prizes. My friend won a DVD player and a TV, while I won a manicure gift certificate and a game set. Also there was free food, which was not just limited to snacks but consisted of a variety of sandwiches and bagels with many different toppings.
Yet, I think the most important thing that the afterparty allows students to do is to continue the experience of prom. Honestly, as a senior, who wouldnât want to have the chance to be able to continue that experience with your friends as long as you possibly can? And even with all this, if youâre still not having a good time, you arenât obligated to stay, and you can simply leave.
So all in all, you can only gain something by checking out the Post Prom Party. Personally I donât think anyone my age should pass up the opportunity to have free entertainment, food, prizes and fun. In addition to other great prizes, this year they are also raffling a laptop and more than likely a car! So please, help support the PTSA in their effort in bringing students a fun and safe experience after prom.
