SeniorNet Computer Classes

DANBURY — Danbury SeniorNet is currently registering adults (age 50-plus) at Elmwood Hall, 10 Elmwood Place, for its new series of four- and eight-week computer courses.

For beginners with no prior computer experience there is a four-session “Computer Fundamentals” course on Monday and Wednesday, from 1 to 3:30 pm, beginning April 10.

The following eight session courses are 2 to 2½ hours long: “Introduction to Personal Computers,” Monday and Wednesday, starting April 24; “Using the Internet,” starting Tuesday, April 11, both 1 to 3:30 pm; and “Exploring Windows XP,” starting Thursday, April 13, from 10 am to noon.

The fee for “fundamentals” is $50 per person (or $10 for SeniorNet members); all other classes are $65 ($25 SeniorNet members). Courses are held at the Senior Center Annex (Old Jail), 80 Main Street.
