Jean Marie Abate Brent, 92, died March 27, at Ashlar of Newtown. She was the widow of Larry L. Brent.
Mrs Brent was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., January 1, 1913, a daughter of the late Victor and Amelia (Piazza) Abate.
She is survived by two sons, Dr Richard Brent and his wife, Marilyn, of Niantic, Michael Brent and his wife, Leslie, of Bethel; a daughter, Mary Ann Carvalho and her husband, Anthony, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren as well as ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Watchtower Society, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn NY 11201.
A memorial service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahâs Witnesses, Payne Road, Danbury, Saturday, April 2, at 11 am.
Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. will be private.
There are no calling hours.
The Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, is in charge of arrangements.
