Two Warrants
After learning that Danbury Superior Court had issued two warrants for the arrest of Richard Pulver, 19, of 22 Washington Avenue, police went to his residence on the night of March 28 to serve those warrants.
Police charged Pulver with two counts of violation of probation, and one count each of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
nem from previous marijuana possession charges that were filed against Pulver in September and March of 2004, police said.
Police held Pulver on $50,000 bail for arraignment on the charges March 29 in Danbury Superior Court.
Audi Hits Deer
Motorist James T. Morley, III, 25, of 54 Huntingtown Road was driving a 2001 Audi All-Road station wagon eastward on Orchard Hill Road about 10 pm March 26, when a deer ran out onto the road, resulting in a collision, police said.
The impact damaged the autoâs grille and hood. Morley was not injured. Police took no enforcement.
Sandy Surface
Motorist Christian Derod, 17, of 38 Greenleaf Farms Road was driving a 1993 Mazda 626 on Eden Hill Road about 11:22 pm March 26 and then made a turn onto Hi Barlow Road, police said. The Mazda went out of control on the sandy road surface and struck a tree alongside the street, police said.
Derod received a cut lip, but refused medical attention, police said. Police issued Derod a written warning for making a restricted turn.
Town Snowplow
Motorist Todd Adams, 25, of 26 Buttonball Drive, who was driving a 1987 Ford F-250 pickup truck eastward on a snowy Clearview Drive, was approaching a curve about 6 am March 24, police said.
At that time, town snowplow driver Christopher Capozziello, 40, of 12 Pilgrim Lane was plowing snow in a westbound 2004 Mack dump truck, police said.
While the vehicles were entering the curve in the road from opposite directions, Adams applied his brakes, but the brakes locked, and the pickup truck slid onto the snowy road, striking the town dump truck, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Adams a written warning for failure to drive to the right.
Church Hill Road
Motorist Walter Pachniuk, 47, of Woodbury, who was driving a 1999 Saab 9-3, was exiting a driveway at 91 Church Hill Road about 11:19 pm March 27, as motorist Teresa Dahlmeyer, 21, of 15 Sunnyview Terrace was driving as 1993 Pontiac Bonneville westward on Church Hill Road, police said.
As the Saab entered the road, the Saab and the Pontiac collided, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Pachniuk an infraction ticket for failure to grant the right of way at a private driveway.
