CCS To Perform Benefit Concert

DANBURY — The Connecticut Choral Society (CCS) will perform “Look at the World,” a concert to benefit Danbury’s Jericho Partnership on Sunday, April 10, at 4 pm, at First Congregational Church, 164 Deer Hill Avenue.

Under the baton of Maestro Eric Knapp, the chorus will be joined by the New York Boy Choir as well as additional singers from area churches and schools, with music focusing on celebration and joy. The program will include works by John Rutter and Louis Vierne, as well as a song honoring Nelson Mandela and Pieter de Klerk.

The concert is being presented to support and call attention to the services provided by the Jericho Partnership (JerichoPartnership.org). Nine autonomous outreach organizations, a dozen congregations, two foundations, and over 1,000 volunteers partner together under the Jericho Partnership organization to serve the youth, homeless, and other at-risk communities in Danbury.

Tickets are $20 and will be available at the door. They can also be reserved by calling 203-206-7186 or emailing info@CTchoralsociety.org.
