Jeffery L. Knapp, 61, of Sandy Hook, formerly of Fairfield, died March 26. He was born September 14, 1949, in Teaneck, N.J., to Ruth and Paul Knapp, Sr.

Mr Knapp founded and owned Knapp Lawncare, as he enjoyed working outdoors. An avid pool player, he also loved water skiing and boating with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lynn Lee Knapp; three sons, Matt Knapp, and his wife Hina, and Tyler and Timothy Knapp; daughter Jennifer Licona, and her husband Carlos; his mother Ruth; brother Paul Knapp, Jr; one granddaughter, and many friends.

A private gathering will be held for family and friends.

The family welcomes donations to the Livestrong Foundation, at www.livestrong.org, in Mr Knapp’s honor.
