*Premier Concerts announced this week two more shows for its 2011 summer season at Ives Concert Park:

EARTH, WIND & FIRE will bring its 40th anniversary world tour to the Danbury amphitheater on Saturday, July 2, and ALISON KRAUSS & UNION STATION featuring JERRY DOUGLAS will bring their Paper Airplane Summer Tour 2011 to the same location on Wednesday, July 27,

Tickets for Alison Kraus range from $30 to $75, while Earth, Wind & Fire will run $32 to $97. Both shows will go on sale Friday, April 8, at 10 am, through www.PremierBoxOffice.com, joining tickets going on sale that same hour for PETER FRAMPTON (July 1), An Evening with STEELY DAN (July 25), and The Beach Boys (August 14), shows that were all announced a few weeks ago but are now going on sale.

*In addition to the Ives Concert Park show, the ALISON KRAUSS tour will also be making a stop at The MGM Grand at Foxwoods on August 6. Tickets for that show will be $45 to $65 and will be going on sale Friday, April 29, at 10 am.

*However, tickets for PETER FRAMPTON’s show at The MGM Grand Theater (July 16, tickets $30-$50), go on sale this weekend, as do tickets for STEELY DAN’s July 29 show in Mashantucket ($55-$75).

Visit www.Foxwoods.com for these tickets, which will be available Friday, April 1, at 10 am.

*Tickets for the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival’s return on July 24 to The Comcast Theatre in Hartford look like they’ll be going on sale next Friday morning at 10. This year’s festival will have sets by DISTURBED, GODSMACK, MEGADETH, MACHINEHEAD, IN FLAMES and TRIVIUM.

Tickets will be $32.25 and $73.75 for this show; that’s the price of a ticket and the applied service fees.

*Meanwhile, I don’t have ticket onsale details yet but there is talk of a JOURNEY-FOREIGNER-NIGHT RANGER triple bill being planned for The Comcast Theater, on or around August 16.

*Country superstar KEITH URBAN has added a second date — Sunday, July 10 — to his upcoming visit to Mohegan Sun Arena, with special guest Jake Owen.

Tickets are $65 and $85, and go on sale Saturday, April 2, at 10 am, through TicketMaster vendors. Tickets will also be available at the Mohegan Sun Box Office starting Sunday, April 3, subject to availability.

*Also on sale this weekend will be the tickets ($25-$45) for THE GO-GO’S Ladies Gone Wild Tour’s June 5 stop at The MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods.

Until next week, I’ll be seeing you… on the road.
