Top SWC Athletes Named

Newtown High School’s winter sports competitors received All South-West Conference recognition for their efforts on the track, ice, wrestling mats, and courts, as well as in the pool, as follows:

Boys’ Track

First Team: Jake Feinstein, John Wlasuk. Second Team: Peter Kerns. Honorable Mention: Matt Genovese, Andre Capoziello, Brandon Capaldo, and Ken Toal.

Girls’ Track

First Team: Lauren Pettinelli. Second Team: Mara Scallon, Erin Begg, Michaela Guinee, Jenny VanVeen, and Breanna Hart. Honorable Mention: Reagan Cerney, Abby Blackeman, Courtney Beckett, Kyra Murray, Brittany Tolla, Emma Fiore, and Lilly Rodriguez

Wrestling
