BRIMFIELD PROMOTERS ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES SHOW DATES

BRIMFIELD, MASS. — The Brimfield Show Promoters’ Association announces the 2007 schedule for the outdoor antiques and collectibles shows: May 8–13, July 10–15 and September 4–9. Voted #1 in the World by the Travel Channel, Brimfield is a top destination for antiquing.

Originally begun by Gordon Reid in 1959, the shows have since grown to encompass 20 different, privately owned and operated shows, located on both sides of a one-mile stretch of US Route 20.

More than 4,000 dealers showcasing a diverse range of antiques and collectibles make Brimfield a one-of-a-kind antiquing experience.

Beginning on Tuesday and ending on Sunday, individual shows open in a systematic sequence as follows: Tuesday at daybreak: Collins’ Apple Barn, Crystal Brook, Mahogany Ridge, Quaker Acres, Shelton’s and Sturtevant’s. At 6 am: Central Park, Midway and The Meadows. At 11 am: Dealers’ Choice and at 1 pm Brimfield Acres North. Wednesday, at 6 am: New England Motel; at 9 am: Heart O The Mart and at noon: Hertan’s. Thursday, at 9 am: Mays; Friday, at 6 am: J & J’s and Saturday, at 8 am: Brimfield Aces North.

All shows are open to the public; some charge admission fees. The majority of shows are open for the full six days. Parking rates vary. Specific show details can be obtained by contacting individual shows. There are several packers and shippers located throughout Brimfield for those unable to transport purchases. ATMs are also available.

Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for all types of weather. Food is available throughout Brimfield.
