Home for three Newtown students this summer will be at the prestigious dance programs of the American Ballet Theater, Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet and Joffrey Ballet. Abi Mallin auditioned for and was accepted to Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet in California. It was a difficult choice for Christina Zuccareelo, after being accepted to American Ballet Theater in New York and California, Milwaukee Ballet and to Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, but she will be spending her summer in California at American Ballet Theater. The Joffrey Ballet program in New York City will be home to Heather McKeown, for the summer. The Performing Arts Center of Connecticut in Trumbull congratulates these three students in addition to their fellow dancers who will be attending acclaimed summer dance programs, many on scholarship.
