A Patriot Of Sandy Hook

To the Editor:

I feel I must write to commend and applaud a great patriot of Sandy Hook. This great American dwells at the intersection of Toddy Hill Road and Berkshire Road, at Number 37 Berkshire Road. I think the name on his mailbox reads “Rosato.”

For the Christmas holiday he illuminates our spirits and our hearts with his magnificent display of lights, Santa, reindeer, and a grand cross which steals the show. Now, that we are at war with Iraq, his unique patriotism shines through with a giant illuminated American flag that is draped in the front of his home, and a “Support Our Troops” banner near the flag, on his lawn. For this, I personally wish to thank you, and I know the community of Sandy Hook thanks you, and all the passersby from out of town, also. You are to be commended for your courage and patriotism and may you be forever blessed!
