As The Newtown Bee has temporarily shuttered its office and press facilities to best protect and promote the health and safety of its staff members and their families, a minimal number of editors are continuing to maintain the Newtownbee.com website and its Social Network pages on Facebook and Twitter on a daily basis until printing of the paper resumes.

As a result, The Bee is looking for residents to submit story ideas as well as articles (500 word limit +/-) as well as photos, for consideration and possible publication on our website as deemed appropriate. Submissions are subject to editing for style and content, and those accepted for publication will be done so with no expectation of compensation.

Send your story ideas, your submission in a MS Word of plain text document file, and any submitted photos (large resolution jpg images) via e-mail to editor@thebee.com, with our appreciation for helping your local Newtown Bee continue in our over 140 year tradition of covering the community with news and features of interest.
