At Eastern Connecticut

Becky Carroll, left, and Lindsay Carley, right, both of Newtown, are members of the Eastern Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse team. Carroll is a senior, a three-time letterwinner, and a tri-captain. Carley, meanwhile, is a freshman. Carroll, a defenseman, has never missed a match for ECSU and has started all but two. She ranks fourth all-time in starts and minutes and second in ground ball controls. ECSU was 10-4 last year, 4-2 in the NEWLA (New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance).
