April La Leche League Meeting
April La Leche League Meeting
âWhy Breastfeed Past Six Months?â will be the topic when La Leche League of Newtown meets on Tuesday, April 18, at 9:45 am.
La Leche League is an international, non-profit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. All women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to attend the monthly group meetings or call a leader for breastfeeding advice.
Attending La Leche League meetings can help women learn about breastfeeding from other nursing mothers. At these monthly meetings, mothers share not only their questions and concerns but also the benefits and joys of breastfeeding. Babies and toddlers are welcome, as are mothers-to-be.
This monthâs meeting will be held in the home of a group member. For further information, please contact Robin Sampson at 426-6242.
