Newtown Volunteer Ambulance responded to 66 calls during the period of March 25 to April 7.
There were 36 medical calls: 6 respiratory, 4 cardiac, 4 stroke related, 1 other seizure, 21 miscellaneous medical. There were 23 trauma calls: 7 vehicular, 16 non-vehicular. There were 7 standby calls.
Forty-six persons were transported to the hospital; 20 were not transported.
The ages of those persons: four who were infants to age 8; 12 ages 9 to 21; 21 ages 22 to 60; 29 over the age of 60.
Thirty-one were males; 35 were females.
Ten of the calls occurred between midnight and 8 am; 29 between 8 am and 4 pm; 27 between 4 pm and midnight.
