Find Your Family Tree

WATERBURY — Is there royalty in your background? Or perhaps an unsavory robber baron among your ancestors?

Learn how you can trace your family’s history during a lecture on “Your Family Tree,” to be presented by Dr Robert L. Rafford of Northeast Genealogy on Sunday, May 7, at 3 pm, at the Mattatuck Museum.

Dr Rafford, whose office is in Middlebury, will discuss family roots, research methods and how the Internet can assist in a search for your family’s history. A question and answer period will follow Dr Rafford’s lecture, and refreshments will be served.

The suggested donation for this program is $5.
