Goodall Returning To Speak At Western
DANBURY â The Jane Goodall Center for Excellence in Environmental Studies at Western Connecticut State University will host a lecture by Jane Goodall at 8 pm on Sunday, April 30. The lecture is part of her annual campus presentations.
Dr Goodall is a world-renowned primatologist, ethologist, and a tireless crusader for environmental causes and the environmental education of the worldâs youth. She has written numerous books, the most recent Reason for Hope, which was the focus of a PBS series special.
After more than 35 consecutive years of research, Dr To provide ongoing support for chimpanzee research, she founded the Jane Goodall Institute in 1977.
Tickets for the lecture are $15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, and $5 for students under 18. Proceeds will go to the Jane Goodall Center for Excellence in Environmental Studies at Western.
