The Newtown High School junior class – led by Colleen Davis, Mallory McQuail and Jill Tomasulo – will host a walk-a-thon on Saturday, April 29, at the Jenner Stadium track in an effort to raise money for Bill Marsilio and his life-saving bone marrow transplant.

The walk-a-thon is for students in kindergarten through grade 12, their parents, and any community members who wish to participate and help the Marsilio family (fill out the form at right). The money will be used to medical and related living expenses and Mr Marsilio receives treatment in California.

Come out, get some exercises, and lend a helping hand to a worthy cause.

Those wishing to simply make a donation can make checks payable to the Newtown High School junior class.

Also, friends and community members are invited to an afternoon of dinner and dancing on Sunday, May 7, from 1 to 6 pm, at The Fireside Inn on South Main Street (donation - $60). Call 270-1216 for further information and tickets.
