Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to 31 calls during April 8-14.
There were 10 medical calls: 2 respiratory, 2 cardiac, and six miscellaneous. There were 13 trauma calls, 9 vehicular and 4 non-vehicular. There were 8 standby/other calls.
Twenty persons were transported to the hospital. Eleven were not transported.
The ages were 9-21, three calls; 22-60, 21 calls; over 60, 7 calls.
Sixteen were males; 15 females.
Eleven calls were between midnight and 8 am; 12 between 8 am and 4 pm; 8 between 4 pm and midnight.
