BERLINER-GELFANI 6, HICKEY SEPTIC 2: Croy Carlin, Daniel Murdoch and Brad Tanner got together on the mound to whiff 16 batters while walking just three in the win. Carlin and David Villarerrel had two hits apiece while Mike Ferraro and Jackson Blawie made great plays in the outfield. For Hickey, Eric Socci and Steve Bowers each had a hit while Stephen Mucci was solid behind the plate. Sam Paproski pitched five innings and fanned 10 batters.
JURMAN-METRICS INC. 13, HICKEY SEPTIC 11: Chris Perry, Scott Perry, Carlos Fuentes and Wlliam Spencer all went 2-for-2 and combined for eight RBI in the win. Robert Simone and Spencer combined on the mound for the win, with Spencer recording four strikeouts. Eric Jurman had a strong defensive game. For Hickey, Mike Laux went 2-for-2 at the plate while Sam Paproski had a hit and pitched two solid innings. Daniel Bunger and Steve Mucci were strong on D.
LEXINGTON GARDENS 9, ATTORNEY NATALIA KERLER 8: Nick Pollard doubled in a pair of runs and Joe Brewer rapped out a pair of hits to lead Lexington Gardens to the win. Owen Kessler, Pat Daly and Tony Gallucci pitched well. For Kerler, Jim Leebaert doubled and singled. Chris Giorno was also impressive at the plate as Dan Fiscella and Sean OâConnell led the defense. Scudder Baggett, Nick Smith and Colin Cieniawa led the work on the mound.
JURMAN-METRICS INC. 15, ATTORNEY NATALIA KERLER 11: Carlos Fuentes cracked a three-run double and Robert Simone went 2-for-2 to power Jurman-Metrics to the win. Simone also led the defense, making a second-inning catch that saved two runs. Tom Selleck pitched well and William Spencer notched the save. For Kerler, Patrick Honan had a pair of singles and Dillon DeSimone also hit well. Colin Cieniawa and Nick Smith pitched a fine game as Austin Heil, Emil Walston and James Wiedemann led the D.
