How would you describe your occupation? I am a licensed electrician. I’ve been doing it for seven years now. I play with wires all day. I’ve done anything from traffic lights, to changing outlets in people’s houses to skyscrapers and I just did a new Caraluzzis supermarket in Danbury.

Do you have any pets? I have four cats and a dog. The cats are named Freddie, Pixie, Taki, and Domino and the dog is Rosie.

How long have you lived in Newtown? 22 years.

What do you like to do in your free time? I go to the gym a lot, four times a week at least for an hour. I also like riding my quad, and I’ve had my motorcycle license since I was 16. I was the only kid who rode in high school.

What is your favorite book? Tex by S.E. Hinton, about a kid on a motorcycle.

Who or what has been the greatest influence on your life? My father. He just really showed me a lot. He brought me to electricity, he taught me how to drive a stick shift car, to back up a trailer, ride a motorcycle, how to do my taxes, how to get my first credit card. He taught me how to do everything.

If you could spend the day with one person, who would you choose? My sister, because I don’t see her too often anymore.

Who is your favorite musical artist? I like Morgan Wallen, I like AC/DC, and I like Dr Dre.

What is the greatest piece of advice you’ve ever been given? Progress isn’t a straight line. It’s just an upper trend.

What is something you cannot live without? A water bottle. I’m a health nut.

What is your proudest accomplishment? When I got my electrical license, because that was very difficult to get. It was a lot of paperwork.

What is your favorite travel destination? We went to Patagonia when I was a kid. We had a nice walk in a volcano. It’s really, really close to Antarctica.

What is the best part about Newtown? How close-knit everybody is. Everybody knows everybody. I can’t go driving half a mile without seeing someone on the road that I know. And, the food. All the restaurants in town are great.
