Life In The Village Is Good
Life In The Village Is Good
To The Editor:
Prior to purchasing our condo in Walnut Tree Village, my wife and I spent over a year looking at various condos, townhouse and carriage houses in relation to layout, location, architecture, cost and quality of construction. We bought here because we gave Walnut Tree Village an âAâ rating on all of the above.
Construction problems exist in any new building project, be it a $200,000 condo or a million-dollar house. Anyone who has had a house built is aware of this situation. When we moved in we gave George and Lou a punch list of things that needed to be corrected. Although we would have liked an immediate solution to the problems, they were corrected with time. We recognized that they had a construction schedule to meet in order to fill the needs of other people who needed this type of housing and that the people qualified to correct the problems had minimum time for rework. George and Lou had accommodated us by getting us in on a tight schedule and we gave them time to correct the problems.
Although as a buyer one may think you can demand action within a time frame, understanding and cooperation goes a long way to getting a quality job completed.
We cannot speak for the rest of the inhabitants of Walnut Tree Village but we believe that the quality of life in the Village is excellent.
Sincerely,
Ed and Barbara Keough
