Stealing More Than Flowers
Stealing More Than Flowers
To The Editor:
There is a thief that lurks in the St Rose Cemetery. What kind of person could enter and steal from the families of the dead? Yes, you are stealing from us, the living members of the dead.
This past fall, three mum plants were stolen from my daughterâs grave. Now, all of our tulips were stolen, why?
This thief steals more than plants. He steals from us our hope that Newtown is a safe place. This thief steals from us in our moment of grief. This thief has probably never had a loved one die and has never felt heartbreak.
Flowers are all us members of a loved oneâs family have to offer. When you steal them, you hurt everyone.
Please, donât steal our flowers. You can get yours pretty cheap at Big Y.
