To the Editor:

There are many sick people in this nation — I am not referring to those who are ill with coronavirus disease. I am writing about the millions in this country with a sick brain — all the way to the White House — who claim we can open our nation now, or by May 1st.

Usually when one has a serious or contagious illness they wait until they are fully recovered, and get the doctor’s okay to go back to work. Right now our nation has a serious and very contagious illness. Since we are a nation of states without borders, if our nation opens and goes back to work now, there is not much doubt many more will get infected and get sick,and only lengthen the time those who are still healthy have to be prisoners in their homes!

Please, Dr Fauci, get your Italian-American temper up, and tell the President you, and a consensus of experts in pandemics, will let him know when it is safe for the nation to open — and that you will quit if he doesn’t listen to the advice of the medical experts, and write a letter to The Newtown Bee.
