Grow Your Garden, May 4 With Real Food CT

Real Food CT’s Grow Your Garden Event is planned for Saturday, May 4, from 10 am to 2 pm, at Sticks ‘n Stones Farm, 197 Huntingtown Road.

Nigel Palmer, author of The Regenerative Grower’s Guide to Garden Amendments, will be presenting tips for home gardeners to amend their soil with locally sourced materials. Park City Harvest, authors of Grow to Eat, Grow to Heal, and Harvest Heroes will also be speaking.

The family-friendly event will feature a spring seedling sale as well as live music by The Blue Yodels, food truck fare, and vendors.

Founded in 2019, Real Food CT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide healthy food to neighbors in need and help support the local food economy.
