Mary Alice Dubuque

Cherished “Nana”

Mary Alice Dubuque, 73, of Nashville, Tenn., and previously of Danbury, died at the University of New Mexico Hospital after a short illness, April 17. She was born in Peru, N.Y., February 25, 1938.

She is survived by former husband and dear friend, James Dubuque of Newtown; two sons; three beloved grandchildren; 11 siblings; many nieces and nephews; countless loving friends; and special friend, Bob Sheriff.

Mary devoted her life to the medical care of others. Upon retirement she volunteered, and divided the rest of her time playing bridge, golfing, gardening, reading, traveling, and with “intense” shopping.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Mass will take place at St Henry Church, 6401 Harding Road, Nashville, Tenn., Saturday, April 30, at 10 am.
