Imagine the look of surprise and delight on a mother’s face as she is serenaded by four tuxedo-clad gentlemen bearing gifts.

It’s a truly elegant – and different – Mother’s Day event, and it’s being offered this Mother’s Day weekend by the singers of the Connecticut Gay Men’s Chorus.

All weekend long, the CGMC will dispatch teams of four singers, at times of the gift-giver’s choice, to addresses anywhere in Connecticut. Lucky mothers (and grandmothers) will enjoy not only a song or two, but also a gift basket containing a flowering plant, a specially selected gift, and a box of chocolates.

Orders for Singing Mother’s Day Visits, at $50 and $75, will be accepted until 5 pm on Friday, May 12, for delivery on Saturday, May 13, or Sunday, May 14. A call to the CGMC box office at 800/644-2462 will make all the arrangements.
