NATIONAL LEAGUE

 

ATTORNEY NATALIA KERLER 12, BERLINER-GELFANI 5: Chris Giorno was 3-for-3 and Pat Honan smashed a doubled to lead Natalia Kerler to the win. Nick Smith, Scudder Baggett, Jim Leebaert and Colin Cieniawa all combined on the mound for 16 strikeouts. Sean O’Connell made a key defensive play to end an inning. For Berliner-Gelfani, Nathaniel Basch-Gould and David Villarreal led the offense as Daniel Murdoch pitched a solid game with four strikeouts and one walk. David Berliner and Ken Cardell were defensive stars.

CLEARHART CONSTRUCTION 12, BRAUTIGAM LAND SURVEYORS 1: Jacob Rebb singled, doubled and drove in four runs to lead Clearhart to the win. Jonathan Hartlett also drove in four runs and Nick Szabo drove in two. Brian Stickles fanned eight batters in four innings and Jake Benson was strong at shortstop. For Brautigam, Jeremy Currier, Mike Miller, Stefan Poulin, Brian Franc and Robert DeFilippe all had good games.

BRAUTIGAM LAND SURVEYORS 12, CLEARHART CONSTRUCTION 10: Stefan Poulin tripled twice and Kevin Regan hit the ball well to lead Brautigam to the win. Mike Miller and Sean Myslewski pitched well as James Dahlgano, Matthew Berk and Chris Tomascak played solid defense. For Clearhart, Chris Gindraux tripled while Jonathan Hartlett and Jacob Rebb played well in the field.

JURMAN-METRICS 13, CLEARHART CONSTRUCTION 3: Scott Perry went 2-for-2 with four RBI to lead Jurman-Metrics to the win. Christopher Elias laid down a nice bunt that scored Alex Dahlmeyer (the two also combined for eight stolen bases). Chris Reid pitched well in relief. For Clearhart, Jonathan Hartlett pitched well and Brian Stickles had some key hits to pace the offense.

JURMAN-METRICS 11, ATTORNEY NATALIA-KERLER 6: Tom Selleck belted a three-run tripled while Robert DeSimone and Bill Spencer clubbed doubles to lead Jurman-Metrics. Spencer also secured his second save on the mound. Chris Perry and Erik Jurman played well in the field. For Natalia-Kerler, Dan Fiscella doubled while Scudder Baggett and Patrick Hogan singled. Colin Cieniawa, Jim Leebaert and Nick Smith pitched well and Dillion DeSimone, Billy Tierno and James Wiedemann played solid defense.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

 

GRAHAM PAINTING 10, NORTH ATLANTIC CONSTRUCTION 6: Jake Putnicki pitched two scoreless innings and Ryan McGrath recorded the save with a bases-loaded strikeout in the final inning. Putnicki also singled, homered and drove in four runs while McGrath, Seth Hull, Jonathan Graham and Jason Pankowski all turned in multi-hit games. Tucker Kass made a spectacular grab in centerfield and Max Barrett turned in a rally-stopping catch at third base. For NAC, Gary Andrews rapped a pair of triples, Michael Barbour doubled and tripled, and Brian Cullinan was 2-for-3. Brian Conroy pitched well and Ben Striano was solid behind the plate.

GRAHAM PAINTING 14, NEWTOWN HARDWARE 7: Seth Hull was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and Jonathan Graham drove in three runs to lead Graham Painting. Jake Putnicki, Seth Hull and Ryan McGraham pitched well and JP McDade continued his stellar play at second. For Newtown Hardware, Eric Rodriguez, Joe DeVellis, Kevin Cahalane, Stephen Marks and Scott Nichols all had hits. Marks also whiffed nine batters in four innings of relief.

NEWTOWN HARDWARE 4, OCON 3: Joey DeVellis rapped a pair of triples to lead Newtown Hardware to the win. Sean Canfield drilled a triple and drove in the winning run. DeVellis made an assist from centerfield to catcher Brian Duffy to end the game.

NEWTOWN HARDWARE 13, UNION SAVINGS 9: Tad Pierson was 2-for-2 and Colin O’Connor drove in three runs to lead Hardware. Steven Marks fanned six batters in three innings of work on the mound.

NEWTOWN HARDWARE 12, NORTH ATLANTIC CONSTRUCTION 2: Kyle Ekstrom, Kevin Cahalane and Steven Marks, together, were on base 10 times in Newtown Hardware’s victory. Brian Duffy pitched three solid innings, with five strikeouts.

NEWTOWN HARDWARE 16, FIRESIDE INN 2: Eric Rodriguez was 3-for-4 and Sean Canfield was 2-for-3 with a double to power Newtown Hardware. Kevin Cahalane and Brian Duffy shared the pitching duties.

FIRESIDE INN 6, A&D SPORTS 5: Down by one with two outs in the bottom of the fifth, Tom Santella drilled a game-winning double down the third base line to lead Fireside Inn. Will Brooks finished 2-for-2. Mike Tibbets pitched three scoreless innings as Roy Scheunemann and Shane Huebner shined on defense. For A&D, Gary Saage was 2-for-3 while Andrew Chimileski pitched two solid innings and Aaron Fay and Liam Cawley anchored the defense.

AAA

 

INTUITIVE COMPUTERS 14, SWISS ARMY BRANDS 10: Kevin Davies, Adam Cantor, Robert Maganzini and Kevin Caruso led Intuitive to the win while Stephen Toi, Chris Schreiber and Greg Larnerd powered Swiss Army.

INTUITIVE COMPUTERS 4, NEWTOWN POLICE UNION 3: Patrick McNulty drilled a game-winning hit to centerfield to lead Intuitive. Kurtis Liska and Sean Matschke also played well. For the Union, Peter Griffith and Tom Jackman hit the ball well (with Jackman tying the game on a steal of home) while Greg Rodden was solid on the mound and Joe Greenfield pace the defense.

CONGER DRYWALL 15, WELL FLEET FINANCIAL SERVICES 11: Jared Modzelewski was 3-for-4 to help lead Conger to the win. Kyle DiNicola and Matt Cluff shared the pitching duties as Zack Conger and Peter Copeland played well on defense. For Wallfleet, Tim Larsen, Conor Martin and Brendan Martin played well.

CONGER DRYWALL 12, WILLIAM PITT 11: Thaddeus Adams was 2-for-3 and Michael Maher was 3-for-3, stealing home in the last inning, to lead Conger to the victory. Travis Hunter and Kevin Saage pitched well as Dan Palermo led the D. For William Pitt, Tyler Tarantino was 3-for-4 with a homer while Zach Ouellette pitched well and Ben Gersten shined on defense.

CONGER DRYWALL 15, AUTOMATED SECURITY 10: Danny Curtis belted a grand slam and Kevin Saage added another homer as Conger slipped past Automated Security. Tyler Admas led the defense and Michael Maher pitched well. For Automated, Jason Smith, Chris Potter and Danny Smith had solid games.

WALKER INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS 4, WELL FLEET FINANCIAL SERVICES 3: Ryan Boucher pitched three scoreless innings while Chuck Brooks and Aaron Lengel came on in relief to lead Walker to the win. Lengel had the game-winning hit in the bottom of the fifth inning and finished with two hits. Derek Mayo had a key hit. Jim Post, Sean Ryan and Alex Grier all made outstanding plays in the field. For Well Fleet, Tim Larsen and Ryan Wilson were strong on the offense as Brenden Martin, Connor Martin and Mike Woesnner pitched well. David Wilkins, Patrick Dunseith and Zack Seman were all strong in the field.

MINORS

 

TAUNTON PRESS 8, SUGAR HILL AUTO BODY 4: Maxwell Muraskiewicz smashed a shome run and Zach Gordon collected three hits to lead Taunton Press to the victory. Christopher Page was a nice catch in the outfield and Michael Bunger made a great play at third. For Sugar Hill, David Bray tripled, RJ Swift collected two hits, and Robert Brautigam and Andrew Meisel turned in great defensive plays.

BASE TECHNOLOGIES 5, SUGAR HILL AUTO BODY 2: Michael Coyle had three hits and two RBI and Ian Mason banged out a pair of hits to lead Base to the victory. Michael Coyle was excellent in the field and Brian Reszoly had a good game. Nick Saviano pitched two scoreless innings. For Sugar Hill, Tommy Merrifield and Ricky Camejo collected two hits apiece. Robert Brautigam had a good game.

TAUNTON PRESS 4, AUTOMATED SECURITY 0: Ralph Sergioranni and David Kopyseinski had two hits apiece to lead Taunton Press to the win. Craig Schreckenghaust pitched well, whiffing two batters, and Garrett Uhde made a great grab at shortstop. For Automated, Paul Murphy banged out two hits and Michael Gabor had another to lead the offense. Chris Marks pitched well and Kyle McNamara was excellent at first base.

ROOKIE DIVISION

 

TRENDSETTERS INTERNATIONAL versus KORTH & SHANAHAN PAINTING: Michael Herring, Alexander Neufeld, Julian Mulvihill and AJ Brabano led Trendsetters as Ryan Korth, Patrick Fay, and Michael Hubbard powered Korth & Shanahan.
