Mr And Mrs Michael J. Savinelli

Diane Helen Denlinger and Michael John Savinelli were united in marriage on November 6 at Trinity Episcopal Church, Newtown, with the Rev Kathleen E. Adams-Shepherd officiating, assisted by the Rev Timothy Meehan of St Therese Church, North Haven.

The bride is the daughter of Sutherland and Patricia Denlinger of Newtown.

The groom is the son of John and Patricia Savinelli of New Haven.

The bride wore an ivory organza gown with a pleated bodice. She carried a round stemmed bouquet of champagne roses and cream freesia and bouvardia.

The matrons of honor were Carley Lee and Julia Raab, sisters of the bride.

The bridesmaids were Tracey Denlinger, sister-in-law of the bride, and Karen Savinelli and Kimberly Savinelli, sisters-in-law of the groom.

Emily Raab and Julia Denlinger, nieces of the bride, and Kristina Ruotolo, cousin of the groom, were the flower girls.

The best man was Robert Savinelli, brother of the groom.

The ushers were John Savinelli, brother of the groom, James Denlinger, brother of the bride, and Harry Lee and Dean Raab, brothers-in-law of the bride.

Scott Ruotolo, cousin of the groom, and Michael Lee and Danny Lee, nephews of the bride, were junior ushers.

The ring bearers were William Lee and Matthew Raab, nephews of the bride.

The parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Inn at Newtown.

A reception was held at the Candlewood Inn, Brookfield.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School, St Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., with a bachelor of science degree in geology, and Quinnipiac College School of Law in Hamden with a J.D. law degree. She is employed as a clerk at Danbury Superior Court.

The groom graduated from Notre Dame High School in West Haven, Fairfield University in Fairfield with a bachelor of science degree in accounting, Quinnipiac College School of Law in Hamden magna cum laude with a J.D., and New York University Law School in New York City with a LL.M. in taxation. He is employed by Ernst and Young LLP in Stamford.

Following a cruise in the Caribbean, Mr and Mrs Savinelli are residing in Trumbull.
