Wildman To Speak At WLC Luncheon

STRATFORD — Dianne Wildman, who has had a distinguished career in public affairs, will be the featured speaker at the Women’s Leadership Council Annual Business Women’s Luncheon. The event will be held on Thursday, May 12, at Oronoque Country Club, beginning with an 11:45 am orientation session for new and prospective WLC members.

Ms Wildman is director of editorial services for Cablevision systems in Fairfield and Westchester Counties, providing insight into topics as diverse and pressing as homelessness, education, transportation, and community service. Her work on a 1997 series of editorials about Long Island Sound helped Cablevision win the 1998 Save the Sound award.

Prior to joining Cablevision, she was press secretary to US Trade Representative Charlene Barshefsky.  Before moving into government, Ms Wildman was an NBC News correspondent in the network’s Burbank, Houston, New York, and London bureaus.

The Women’s Leadership Council 7th Annual Business Women’s Luncheon is sponsored by the Kimball Group.
