What do you think is the most pressing issue in Newtown now that the budget has passed?

Mary Maki: “Fairfield Hills, because it needs to be a recreational area for the town and not have development creep in. That will be a challenge.”

Julie Stern: “I’m torn between saving what’s left of Fairfield Hills and property assessments. They are both so important.”

Stacy Carney: “I’d have to say conservation and open space preservation.”

Susan Kliczewski with Nora and Evan: “Fairfield Hills is the most pressing issue, and what we are going to do there for families.”

Kim Pollard: “To make more family-oriented spaces in town — like another family pool would be excellent, or a family workout center where the profits would benefit the town maybe.”

Brenda Soriano with Joey and Sophia: “I would say making the best use of the money in the most time efficient manner. Getting the money where it needs to go without delays.”
