Breakfast Featuring Computer Experts

The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown is running an IT Workshop over breakfast at Sal e Pepe, 97 South Main Street, May 10, from 7:30 to 9 am.

The workshop, entitled “How Computers Can Make Your Business Prosper,” will be conducted by three chamber members, who specialize in different areas of the IT industry. John Sarra of CM IT Solutions will be concentrating on how to get the most out of one’s PC and peripherals and what kind of software one needs to be really productive. Attendees will learn how to keep equipment and software running efficiently from Dan Tannenbaum at Newtown Computer Services who will also discuss back-up options and how to keep computer safe from spyware.

Joanne Marcinek of Ask Joanne, LLC will be focusing on “The Top Three Things You Can Do to Get Better Visibility in the Search Engines.”

The workshop will conclude with a Q&A session.

A gourmet breakfast of corn cheddar pancakes and sausage with coffee, tea, and juice will also be included. The charge for this event is $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers.
