Who’s The Most Beautiful Baby In Newtown?

Newtown Junior Women’s Club (NJWC) has decided to extend the deadline for its First Annual Beautiful Baby Contest. Parents are invited to submit photos by May 13, with the public invited to vote later this month.

To enter, submit your child’s photo, 5 by 7 inches or smaller, with complete name, address, phone number, and a $10 entry fee to Newtown Junior Women’s Club, PO Box 217, Botsford CT 06404.

The photo must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian. Photos will not be returned. Only one image per contestant will be accepted, and the child must be between birth and 3 years of age. Be sure to include name, address, phone, and entry fee and submit by the May 13 deadline.

The Photo Voting Display will be available at KB Toys the week of May 14–20 and then at Super Stop & Shop, also in Sand Hill Plaza, May 28 to June 4. On May 26, the photos will be on display in Sandy Hook Center during the Great Pootatuck Duck Race.

The “Most Beautiful Baby” will be determined by the number of votes received. Votes cost $1 each. All proceeds will be donated to Relay For Life.

The winner will be announced at Relay For Life, which will be held at Newtown High School on June 10. Eight members of NJWC comprise its relay team, Vote for a Cure, and volunteers will be at the NJWC tent to accept last-minute votes.

The winning baby will receive a Beautiful Baby Gift Basket and have his or her photo published in The Newtown Bee.
