To Host Art Show

ROXBURY — Roxbury Congregational Church will present its second annual Roxbury Regional Art Show, May 18–20, at the church’s fellowship hall, at 24 Church Street.

The juried show is a fundraiser that will support the church as well as its various mission programs. It will feature representational artists from throughout Connecticut and western New York. There will be cash and recognition awards, including a Best in Show of $1,000.

The opening reception on Friday, May 18, will run from 6 to 9 pm. It is open to the public and refreshments will be served. The presentation of awards will start at 8 pm.

The exhibit will remain open from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday, May 19, and from noon to 5 pm, on Sunday, May 20.  Judging artists will be Ann Smith from Mattatuck Museum, and artists Roger Kastel, and Patricia Billeci.
