To the Editor:

Where does the council come up with these schemes to blindside the public? As reported in The Newtown Bee, Pat Llodra’s proposal to shift money from our budget to bonding is a disgrace and an insult to the taxpayers.

We are tired of funding grand schemes to buy things we cannot afford, like issuing bonds for school computers that will be obsolete in less than five years. We need to reduce our spending! If the current council doesn’t get it, we will see to it that a new council does this November. Let’s send a clear message to all our elected officials, and vote No on May 8.
