Supporting Autism Research

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Autism Awareness Fund, my autistic nephew, Nate, and the many millions of other children who have been affected or will be affected by this disorder, I’d like to thank the many people in Newtown who so generously supported my fundraising efforts.

Your generosity and thoughtfulness will help to make a difference in many lives. The individuals and families who live daily with the hardships of this disorder need help and support from family, friends, and their communities.

Thanks Newtown for recognizing the need to support autism research! All the donations will help to increase awareness, fund global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, and treatments for autism.

A special thanks to The Newtown Junior Women’s Club for their generous donation and support. Your hard work in our community is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again to everyone who helped to “Solve the Puzzle.” You bring hope to many families!
